Denso will launch a listed oil-saving nickel spark plug "Two Tops"

Denso will launch the "Two Tops" fuel-efficient nickel spark plug on January 6, 2010. The ground electrode that receives the spark adopts a convex shape. The spark plug adopts a two-tops structure that is opposite to the convex shape of the center electrode.
The two electrodes adopt the new nickel alloy developed by Denso to reduce the diameter of the center electrode by 40% while controlling the cost increase. Therefore, while reducing anti-inflammatory effects, improving ignition performance, and increasing the fuel efficiency and torque of automobiles by 1.2% and 1.1%, respectively, it is also possible to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 0.8% (compared with the company's original product). Anti-inflammation refers to the phenomenon that when the flames generated between the electrodes of the spark plugs burn the mixed gas and expand the combustion range, the ignition energy is reduced due to the heat energy taken off from the flame after contacting the electrodes.
